Dehradun to Raithal

Day 1

Dehradun – Uttarkashi - Raithal (211 kms 7-8 hrs)

The drive from Dehradun to Uttarkashi is an all hill drive through mountains and dense forests, means if you are sleeping while in your cab you are going to miss out the beautiful journey. We will arrive at Raithal by 4:00 pm, check in to hotel relax for some time and later get on to enjoy the natural beauty of Raithal village. Also you can get a glimpse of snow laden peaks like Gangotri and Shrikanth from here.

Day 2

Raithal - Dayara (8 kms trek)

Raithal serves as the starting point of the trek,its time to gear up for the trek,passing through dense forest of oaks and pines we reach to goi village which is the mid point of the trek,as we move further you can see a glimpse of vast meadows of dayara which is our camping point for the day. on arrival pitch the tents and relax for the day in vast open grasslands of Himalayas.

Dayara – Raithal (8 kms trek)

Wake up to a beautiful Himalayan morning with a spectacular view of snow laden peaks right from your camp. After having a breakfast we will trek down to Raithal for overnight stay.

Day 4

Raithal - Dehradun

Though you won’t be happy to return back to your busy life leaving such amazing place but the memories of the trek will remain with you forever, so with a promise to return again you can bid good bye to the Himalayas. We will drive to Dehradun via the same route and will arrive by 5:00 pm.
